MY TOP 5 PRODUCTS – BY JANE HARDING
OK, so this blog is in response to Kate’s challenge she set in her ‘top 5 products’ blog. Yes Kate, you are totally right, I REALLY don’t want to imagine for a moment that my kit is going to go up in flames! :-O But if I had to rescue only 5 products, they would be:
Hmmm… this is much harder than you imagine! Lol OK here we go….
DFX Black & White… yes I know they are officially 2 products, but Kate bundled them into 1 and as I screw them together to store them, I figure they definitely count as 1! If you’re wondering why I prefer DFX to any other white/black on the market, the answer is very simple. When I first started face painting I booked myself on some 1-1 training with a fabulous face painter and was able to try out her DFX. Compared to the Snazaroo I was currently using, I instantly fell in love them, they improved my line work almost immediately and I’ve never looked back. If it ain’t broke and all that!
Rainbow One Stroke… my personal favourites are Leanne’s Neon Rainbow and Leanne’s Island Girl. So I would definitely grab one of those. Yep they both have neon in them, so if you are concerned your insurance might not cover them, then my “non neon” choice would be Leanne’s Rainbow or Sillyfarm True Rainbow.
ALL THE BRUSHES! Yes they definitely count as one item because they are all stored in one case! Ha haaaa…. It’s a pretty tough question to ask which are my “favourite/must have” brushes… but if you twisted my arm I would say, Lowe Cornell Rounds, Paint Pal Little Drop, TFPS Small Flower Brush and TFPS 3/4 Flat.
Onalee Rivera Hero Power Pallet… having watched Onalee’s FABATV class last summer, as soon as this pallet came out I bought one… I think I am on my 3rd replacement already because I literally use it on every job! Superheroes are such a popular design and with this pallet you can pretty much do them all. I absolutely love it.
Now in all honesty if I only had time to grab a few things to save my kit… the fist thing would be my Craft’n’go! Lol But as that qould defeat the object of this little challenge I am over looking that! So, last but not least, the final thing I would save is…. My Sillyfarm Rainbow cakes… Id grab as many as I could because they are just so beautiful, but if I had to choose one or two, I would go for Tango (a great tiger split cake is always handy) or Paisley (really versatile, creates the most beautiful butterflies and teardrop masks).
And that’s it… I could so easily list x20 more things, but I’ll stay true to the challenge and leave it at that! Like Kate, if I could add a 6th, I would go for a stencil… my current favourites are those by OOH! Body Art and TAP Stencils.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my Top 5 Products… what are yours?
