Terms & Conditions

*We ask that Claims and any discrepancies be made within 7 days of delivery by means of email (orders@thefacepaintingshop.com) - this is the most direct and efficient way of resolving problems with your order

* Orders are sent out once your payment is successful

*You will receive an email confirming we have received your order

*Orders are not processed until full payment is received

*Please ensure that your address is completed in full, if paying via Paypal we do not take the address on your Paypal account - but the one you enter when checking out.

*When paying via PayPal you will receive a separate email confirming your payment

*If you have any problems with PayPal please do email us & we will raise a PayPal invoice and email it to you.

*We do not accept cheques

*Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months

*Some Rainbow cakes and one stroke cake will differ slightly from the computer image - this is due to them being handmade.

*If an item is out of stock we will either refund the cost of the product in full or if an alternative is suitable it will be sent with your order.

It is the buyer's responsibility to enter the correct shipping information/address, we will not be held responsible for any orders that are returned to us by Royal Mail / DPD due to wrong shipping information provided by the buyer - and additional postage costs will occur if we have to resend the order

*If your order is returned to us undelivered, additional postage costs will be incurred

*INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - DELIVERY TIMES ARE 7-10 WORKING DAYS

*No replacements or refunds will be issued for any products that arrive damaged after a 7 day period

*The risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery of the goods.

*Wholesale orders paid via Paypal will incur a 4% Payment fee

* The Face Painting Shop does not accept any responsibility for late deliveries from any of our chosen delivery companies.

* During the Christmas period when we are closed all orders will be shipped via Royal Mail 

  • All Global Colours Ingredients, EXCEPT Neon’s, are compliant with FDA & European Union Cosmetic Directives.  Neon colors, like in many other brands, are made with pigments that have not been approved by the FDA to be used in cosmetics (the FDA has not tested them yet for cosmetic use) but they have been independently tested and have been determined safe for cosmetic use by independent laboratories.

    These products are approved for "Special FX ".

    Following FDA guidelines these colors are labeled as a Special FX product to be used on prosthetics, clothing, etc.

*The Face Painting Shop strives to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on the Site; however, The Face Painting Shop cannot and does not guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate*

 

Returns

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return any unopened and unused items to us within 14 days of receipt

To be acceptable for return items should be unused, unopened, and have any original seals intact. 

All packaging and/or cellophane wrapping and tamper-resistant seals must be intact; otherwise, the item will be considered unfit for re-sale and will not be accepted by our returns department.

Returns are subject to a handling charge of 20% (N.B we reserve the right to refuse returns of unwanted products) This does not affect your statutory rights.

Before returning any products, please email us a orders@thefacepaintingshop.com with your order number and the products you wish to return, we will then send you the returns address.

All returns are sent at the buyer's expense.

 


 

 

 

 


Courses / workshops

* All training course deposits /payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. -

Course fees are non-refundable / non-transferable should you be unable to attend or complete the booked course.

Complaints

The Face Painting Shop is committed to providing a quality service to all our customers.

In order to help us do that we would ask that you give us feedback where we have failed to meet your expectations.

We take all complaints seriously and use the information to improve our service.

When handling complaints, we will:

  • Be courteous, respectful, and fair- we ask that our staff are given the same respect and courtesy while they are trying to resolve your complaint
  • Treat your complaint in confidence
  • Handle complaints promptly – we aim to acknowledge complaints received via email, our website or telephone within 24 hours and complaints received via post within 5 days from receipt. We aim to respond to all complaints within 14 working days of receipt.
