Split cakes are compact cakes featuring narrow bands of colour, making them ideal for loading several colours onto a flat brush at once and creating blended one-stroke designs.
Rainbow cakes are larger and feature wider colour sections, making them particularly useful with sponges for covering larger areas of the face or body with several colours at once.
Can I use Rainbow Ponies with a sponge?
Yes. A small sponge or round dauber can be used to pick up the colours and gently pat them onto the skin until you achieve your desired coverage. For defined one-stroke designs and flowing lines, a flat brush is usually the better choice.
How many applications will I get from a 30g cake?
Approximately 100–200 applications. The exact number will depend on your design, the amount of paint used and your application technique.
Can Fusion Body Art colours be mixed together?
Yes. Fusion Body Art colours can be blended together while wet to create your own shades and gradients. Colours can also be layered once the first layer has dried.
Is Rainbow Ponies suitable for children?
Rainbow Ponies is recommended for ages 3 and over. As with any cosmetic product, a small patch test is recommended before first use, particularly for sensitive skin.
Remove with soap and water, gently washing the painted area until all colour has been removed. Avoid excessive rubbing of the skin.
